Supporting Homewood High School Scholarships
Through corporate and community support of past St. Patrick’s Day fund raising celebrations, Homewood Rotary Club continues to be proud of its history of providing college scholarships to Homewood High School Seniors as they embark on their college journeys. Thanks in large part to your generosity at our last event we were able to award a record total of $25,000 in scholarships to five students in 2023.
Originally founded in 1984, our education foundation has been renamed The Bill Crawford Educational Foundation of the Homewood Rotary Club in recognition of the club’s founder. Each year the foundation awards scholarships in conjunction with donations from the Buddy Wade family, and Carol Duke and Ann Jones, daughters of Bill Crawford.
On the evening of Saturday, March 2, 2024, we will once again gather at Valley Hotel Homewood to enjoy dinner, listen to Celtic band, Hooley, and bid on the silent auction items. Plan to be entertained as our auctioneer guides us through a “lively” live auction. Our future scholarship recipients would appreciate your support in one of two ways: sponsorship & auction donations.
